Team USA wins Top Prospects finale

ANN ARBOR, MICH. – The U.S. Under-18 Team defeated the North Division, 2-1, in the final game of the NAHL Top Prospects Tournament at the Ice Cube in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Team USA goaltender Brandon Maxwell was named the Player of the Game after making 28 saves in the victory.

Forwards Ryan Hegarty and Robbie Czarnik (game-winner) scored the U.S. goals, while Alpena IceDiggers forward Jimmy McCusker rang up the North Division’s lone tally.

The U.S. team and the North Division both finished the event with a 2-1 record.
